the SD1541-II PCBs have arrived and the first device works as expected. This week I will testing the device and next week we will finalize the 3D printed box.
The SD1541-II is designed to replace for the Commodore VC1541 floppy drive. It could be emulates the original hardware with a very good compatibility. We tried a lot of programs during the test period, even the latest programs which are specifically designed for the limits of VC1541’s ability. They ran without any mistakes and there was no bugs in the games either. It can be used for the following Commodore computer types: C64, C16, C116, PLUS/4, C128 and VIC20.
